Workforce

Arkansas's economic success depends on a workforce that is agile, highly skilled, and responsive to the evolving needs of employers and industries. ADHE's workforce development and strategic alignment efforts connect K-12 education, higher education, workforce development, and economic development to create seamless pathways from learning to meaningful careers. This work requires collaboration among ADHE Academic Affairs, Financial Aid, Data and Research, and other ADHE offices to align programs, policies, and student supports with workforce needs. Through close partnership with the Arkansas Division of Career and Technical Education, the Arkansas Department of Commerce, other state agencies, postsecondary institutions, and employers, ADHE helps ensure Arkansans are prepared for high-demand careers while supporting the state's long-term economic prosperity.
