Multiple Measures Assessment
Multiple Measures Assessment (MMA) seeks to support student success by providing several ways for students to demonstrate college readiness in math and English. Beginning in 2021, Arkansas partnered with the Center for the Assessment of Postsecondary Readiness (CAPR) for a three-year project focused on capacity building and scaling the adoption of MMA in Arkansas.
The Arkansas Division of Higher Education issued formal placement recommendations to all public institutions on 10/09/2023.

Community of Practice:
Individuals working with MMA at any Arkansas higher education institution are invited to register for the statewide MMA Teams Group. Organized by CAPR, the Arkansas Division of Higher Education (ADHE) and Arkansas Community Colleges (ACC), this Teams Group contains a repository of materials from statewide MMA convenings—namely, action plans, recorded presentations, and sample implementation plans developed by colleges across the state. Furthermore, the Teams provides a space for faculty and staff at colleges across the state to connect, discuss, and share resources related to MMA.
The Teams Group is organized by functional subgroups, including:
- Administrators
- Admissions
- Advising/Counseling
- Faculty
- Institutional Research
- Information Technology
