DUPLICATION ASSISTANT
SUMMARY:
The Duplication Assistant is responsible for operating reproduction equipment and filling orders for duplication. This position is governed by state and federal laws and institution policy.
TYPICAL FUNCTIONS:
Operates duplication equipment, including a copier, press, software for reproduction, paper cutter, folding machine, spiral binding machine, and other assigned equipment.
Collates, binds, and staples copies.
Performs routine maintenance on equipment.
Ships, receives, and stocks products and inventory.
Screens incoming calls, directs calls, and takes and transmits messages.
Greets customers and provides assistance or directs them to appropriate party, program, or agency.
Receives, sorts, and distributes mail and correspondence to appropriate personnel.
Performs other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES, AND SKILLS:
Knowledge of the operations of duplication equipment. Ability to interact with customers concerning duplication activities. Ability to understand and process duplication related documents.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
The formal education equivalent of a high school diploma; plus one year of general office experience.
Additional requirements determined by the agency for recruiting purposes require review and approval by the Arkansas Division of Higher Education.
OTHER JOB RELATED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE MAY BE SUBSTITUTED FOR ALL OR PART OF THESE BASIC REQUIREMENTS, EXCEPT FOR CERTIFICATION OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS, UPON APPROVAL OF THE QUALIFICATIONS REVIEW COMMITTEE.
