Career Pathways

The Arkansas Career Pathways Initiative (CPI) began serving clients in 2005. The program seeks to improve the earnings of Arkansas’ low-income TANF-eligible adults with children under the age of 21 through postsecondary education attainment to enable them to work in industries of regional importance. Administered by the Arkansas Division of Higher Education (ADHE), with funding from the Arkansas Department of Human Services (DHS), ADHE/CPI provides services through 24 colleges including educational expenses, supportive services such as childcare and transportation, and student advisors to help you choose classes, get enrolled, and put you and your family on the road to a better life.
