ADHE Director Search Committee will Recommend Maria Markham as New Director

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The ADHE Director Search Committee met on July 26 in Executive Session and interviewed Dr. Maria Markham, vice chancellor for academic services at Cossatot Community College; Dr. MacGregor Stephenson, former deputy chief of staff to Texas Governor Rick Perry; and Dr. John Townsend, associate vice chancellor of workforce development for Tennessee’s board of regents.

The Search Committee will recommend Dr. Maria Markham as the new director of the Arkansas Department of Higher Education (ADHE) at the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board (AHECB) meeting on Friday, July 29.
